Someone with only your personal email could find your home address in minutes. Two people-search sites show your street address for free, a third shows it for a small fee, and Whitepages lists your mobile number next to your full name.

The quickest routes run through Spokeo and an old running forum account from 2014. Oko has sent opt-out requests to Spokeo and Radaris for you. TruePeopleSearch, Whitepages and BeenVerified each need a step we can’t take for you, so those are yours to do, with the steps below.

Your email is in three data breaches. One of them, from 2019, is how your mobile number got out. Change any password you used on those sites.

An investigator’s account of your exposure, theme by theme, with links to the findings behind it.

Your home address is a search away

Spokeo and TruePeopleSearch both show your street address with your name, your age and two relatives. Neither needs an account or a payment to see it.

BeenVerified shows your name, age and city for free and puts your current address in its paid report. We didn’t pay to look, so we can’t confirm the address there is yours.

An old username ties your email to your city

Your personal email is registered to a 2014 account on the Springfield Striders running forum. Its public profile shows the username jexample_runs, the first name Jordan and the city Springfield.

A 2023 race results page lists your full name, age and running club. Together they give a stranger enough to pick out the right Jordan on a people-search site.

Your mobile number came out in a breach

The 2019 RunTrackr breach exposed your email and your mobile number together. Whitepages and TruePeopleSearch list the same number with your name, so anyone with a copy of that breach can confirm it’s yours.

How the search went, from the details you gave us to the last lead, and what we could and couldn’t check.

We started from the name, email, phone number and city you gave us. A check on your email found three breaches and three accounts, including a 2014 profile on a running forum. That profile gave us an old username, jexample_runs, and we searched for it too.

We searched people-search sites for your name and city, and matched each listing against your details before counting it as you. Where a site hid a detail behind a paywall, we say so.

Found
Listings on Spokeo, TruePeopleSearch, Whitepages, BeenVerified and Radaris, four personal details, three breaches and three accounts. Each is listed below.
Checked and clear
The other people-search sites we checked showed no listing for you.
Could not check
One people-search site stopped our check with a CAPTCHA, so we couldn’t see whether it lists you.
Not covered
Public records, images, and the exposure of family members are not covered in this version.

When each detail became public, as far as we can tell.

  1. 2014An account on the Springfield Striders forum is registered to your email, with the username jexample_runs.
  2. 2016-08The PhotoVault breach exposes your email and a password.
  3. 2019-03The RunTrackr breach exposes your email and mobile number.
  4. 2021-07The ShopNest breach exposes your email and name.
  5. 2023A race results page lists your name, age and running club.

What we couldn’t check this time.

  • Public records (property, court, voter and business filings) are not searched in this version.
  • Images are not searched: no reverse image search or facial recognition is used.
  • Family members are noted where a source lists them, but their own exposure is not investigated.
  • We found people-search listings through a web search index. A listing that search engines have not indexed may be missed.

Generated 2026-10-12.

A recheck runs your report again. It adds a section right after the summary that shows what’s new, what’s gone and what came back, so you only fix what changed.
