Adding contact details and past names & usernames

Add every email and phone number you use, and confirm each one. Then add any past names, usernames and cities you have lived in. The more we know is yours, the better we can tell your results from someone else’s.
Contact details
Contact details are the email addresses and phone numbers we search from. You’ll find them under Contact details in the portal.
- Add each one you use, including old addresses you still receive mail at. Breaches and people-search sites often hold an older email or number.
- Confirm each one. We send a link to each email and a code to each phone. We only search from details you have confirmed, so a report is always about you.
- US phone numbers only for now.
When a report starts, we email every address it searches from, so you always know a report is running.
Past names & usernames
These are optional, and they can only help. You’ll find them under Search hints in the portal. Add:
- Former names, such as a maiden name.
- Past cities or addresses where you have lived.
- Usernames you use or have used online.
They help us tell which results are really you, and find old profiles that still point back to you. We only use them together with your confirmed email and phone, so a past name on its own doesn’t pull in strangers with the same name.
Your name
We search for your name as people-search sites would list it, together with your confirmed contact details. Use the name you are known by in public records, such as the one on your lease or utility bills.
Only you
Add only details that are yours. Oko is for finding out what is public about you, and the terms don’t allow searching for anyone else.
